Academics is a top prority for Zeta Tau Alpha.
As collegiate women we understand that the commitment we make to our sisters and service begins with dedication to our studies. This dedication can be seen through different aspects of our required programming.
There are mandatory study hours for each sister scaled according to GPA.
Our new member program also has these mandatory study hours which includes 4 hours that must be completed in the university library in addition to 4 hours at another location on campus.
On the chapter's executive council is the Academic Achievement Chair who oversees the completion of these study hours. The Academic Achievement Chair also develops creative incentives and rewards for sisters who earn high marks on assignments as well as creating scholastic plans for those who have struggled in the past semester.
At the beginning of each semester the Dean's List Daisies are announced before the chapter.
The Dean's List Daisies are a list of sisters who are recognized as making the Dean's List.
Sisters in each grade are celebrated with the highest GPA for the past semester as well as the sister with the highest overall GPA.
